The Pinar de Elviria in Las Chapas will celebrate from 9 to 12 August the Festival 'Flavors of the world on wheels', an initiative that will feature chefs in vehicles, beers from the world, crafts and live music, and that will start every day at from 7:00 p.m.

Joaquín's photograph exudes truth. As well as harmony and composition, Joaquin's work transports us to the time when classic photographers came out with their cameras to portray the reality of the street. The black and white that he offers us in his prints reminds us of the red light laboratories where we spent so many hours to squeeze the negative to make copies that left us the time and "luck". Nos cuenta: “conté con la fortuna de que mis padres quisieron que mis actividades extraescolares durante el bachillerato fuesen el inglés y bellas artes, donde conté con profesores que me inculcaron los rudimentos de la composición, luz, puntos de fuga, proporciones, etc. Tras diversos destinos por la geografía española, tuve la suerte de conocer Andalucía donde vivo hace décadas, casado con una marbellera. Dedicado profesionalmente al derecho y vocacionalmente a la fotografía, inicialmente a la analógica y ahora a la digital, aunque sin abandonar totalmente la primera. Disfruto mucho haciendo fotos y casi más mirando las de los demás. Siempre me fascinó su potencial de hacer eterno el instante. Mi ambición máxima, tener más tiempo para dedicarle a la familia y hacer y seguir mirando fotografías”
La fotografía de Joaquín rezuma verdad. A la par que armonía y composición, el trabajo de Joaquín nos transporta a la época en que los fotógrafos clásicos salían con sus cámaras a retratar la realidad de la calle. El blanco y negro que nos ofrece en sus impresiones recuerda a los laboratorios de luz roja donde pasábamos tantas horas para exprimir el negativo hasta hacer las copias que nos dejaba el tiempo y la “suerte”. Joaquín es un nostálgico y su fotografía clásica en blanco y negro lleva un marchamo de extrema calidad. Y es que él sabe retratar la calle y trasladarla como una visión fugaz a nuestro interior. Buenas tardes, el Málaga C.F. celebra su campus interno, y de jornada de mañana en nuestra localidad del 1 al 7 de julio (ambos días inclusive).
Como hemos hecho en eventos anteriores, la delegación de deportes va a ayudar a tramitar las solicitudes de los niños empadronados en Benahavís.
Para este evento especial de verano, nuestros niños, tienen un precio reducido en la inscripción al campus.
La operativa es muy pero muy simple
En la recepción del ayuntamiento, o en la web del Málaga C.F. se puede recoger o descargar las fichas de inscripción. También tienen el documento adjunto en este correo.

Después, se ha de ir a una entidad bancaria, o realizar el ingreso por la banca digital.
Una vez cumplimentado el documento, y realizado el pago o la transferencia, se ha entregado el documento, y el comprobante de pago en la recepción del ayuntamiento.
Sencillo y rápido, no obstante, no se puede dudar al respecto, no duden en contactar con la delegación de deportes por favor.

Nuestro evento anual de caridad, "Lark in the Park", se llevará a cabo el domingo 3 de junio de 2018 en el Parque Torre Leonera en Benahavis. Las puertas se abren a las 17.30 P. M.
La caridad de este año es "Fundación Andrés Olivares", una organización benéfica para niños con cáncer y sus familias. Está basado en la maternidad en Málaga.
Tenemos otra noche excepcional planeada para ti, con todos los artistas dando su tiempo gratis en ayuda de la caridad. Maretta Ragnarsson ha logrado asegurar la fabulosa "Stella" por tercer año consecutivo, junto con las cantantes Gemma Cabanas, Karen Danzig y el Coro Del Sol. Diana King es la productora de todo el evento y Jamie Stonehewer se encarga de la iluminación y el soporte técnico.
Hayward Elliott dirigirá la comedia corta "Strictly Sex Factor on Ice" escrita por David Tristram. Tiene un reparto fabuloso con Martin Curd interpretando a "Gordon", Russell Hood interpretando a "Bernard", Eileen Audas interpretando a "Margaret" y Rebecca Flowerdew interpretando a "Joyce".
La entrada es por donación a la organización benéfica, estamos sugiriendo una donación mínima de 13 € por persona. Puede hacer su donación en línea a través de nuestro sitio web internationaltheatrestudio.org o pagar en la puerta ese día.
El estacionamiento estará disponible de forma gratuita, cortesía del Consejo de Benahavis, utilizando su aparcamiento bajo el ayuntamiento. También podemos tener acceso al espacio del estacionamiento en el terreno baldío cerca del parque, pero no podemos confirmarlo todavía. Se le aconseja llegar temprano, dejar a sus invitados y equipo de picnic en las puertas del parque y luego estacionar su automóvil.

This year’s charity is “Fundacion Andres Olivares”, a charity for children with cancer and their families. It is based at the maternity hospital in Malaga.
Will be held on Sunday 3rd June 2018 in the Parque Torre Leonera in Benahavis. The gates open at 5.30 pm with the curtains up at 6.30 pm prompt.
We have another exceptional evening planned for you with all the performers giving their time for free in aid of the charity. Maretta Ragnarsson has managed to secure the fabulous “Stella” for the third year in a row, along with singers Gemma Cabanas, Karen Danzig and the Del Sol Choir. Diana King is producer for the whole event with Jamie Stonehewer doing the lighting and technical support.
Hayward Elliott will be directing the short comedy play “Strictly Sex Factor on Ice” written by David Tristram. He has a fabulous cast with Martin Curd playing “Gordon”, Russell Hood playing “Bernard”, Eileen Audas playing “Margaret” and Rebecca Flowerdew playing “Joyce”.
Entry is by a donation to the charity, we are suggesting a minimum donation of 13€ per person. You may make your donation online via our website internationaltheatrestudio.org or pay on the door on the day.
Parking will be available for free, courtesy of the Benahavis Council, using their car park under the town hall.

Los requisitos y pautas a seguir para ir a ver al Málaga, son las siguientes:
Estar empadronados en Benahavís (requisito indispensable). Se cotejarán con los datos del padrón municipal, y el listado final antes de entrar a la Rosaleda.
Llamar al ayuntamiento (952-855025) o personarse en el mismo y apuntarse en la lista de inscritos.
Lamentablemente, Andalucía está a la cabeza de Europa en cuanto al mayor porcentaje de obesos en edad infantil. Además tenemos el mayor número de casos de diabetes tipo 2 y problemas relacionados con la malnutrición.
Por eso hemos organizado una semana dedicada a la salud y al bienestar físico.

This evening we wil discuss the best possible medicines, discuss health, nutrition and physical exercise for all.
We will cover as far as possible all these issues and many more, so do not be missed.
19:00 at the municipal hall acts of the municipality of Benahavis.
Last week was held a Meeting at the Town Hall of Benahavís with the Councilors for Security, Urbanizations, police, and technicians, in order to introduce the preliminary project for the installation of a video surveillance system in the municipality of Benahavís. This project includes the installation of high technology cameras system managed by an Artificial Intelligence (AI) that will allow the recognition of people and vehicles. These cameras will be located at strategic points of the municipality, following the criteria of the Local Police and Guardia Civil for the election of their location.
The start-up of this project is expected for next autumn, once approved by all official entities involved.
La semana pasada tuvo lugar una reunión en el Ayuntamiento de Benahavís con las Concejales de Seguridad Ciudadana, Urbanismo, representantes de las fuerzas del orden público y técnicos, para la presentación del anteproyecto para la instalación de un sistema de vídeo vigilancia en el termino municipal de Benahavís.
En este ante proyecto se contempla la instalación de cámaras de alta tecnología gestionadas por un sistema de Inteligencia Artificial (IA) que permitirá el reconocimiento de personas y vehículos.
La puesta en marcha de dicho proyecto se espera para el próximo otoño, una vez aprobado por todos los organismos oficiales.

Today the 3rd Cultural Week of Benahavis starts!
Benahavis is offering a week full of cultural activities for all audiences and tastes. They have given high priority to children and therefore will organize many workshops for kids, theaters, and storytelling for the little ones. There will also be room for cinema, reading and domino tournaments.
On April 17th, the exhibition of women inventors will be inaugurated at the Cultural Center and may be visited until May 2.
On Sunday 24th there will take place the parade "Del Libro al Cine" from noon on the Avenida Andalucía. There will be a performance of the municipal music band, the municipal flamenco dance group and the performance of the Youth Band "Devils in the Sky" and the spectacle of the famous Sergio Sánchez "El Monaguillo" entitled ¿Sólo lo veo yo ?.

Desde hoy se da comienzo a la 3ª Semana cultural en Benahavis.
Benahavís ha preparado una semana repleta de actividades culturales para todos los públicos y gustos. Han dado prioridad a los niños y se desarrollarán talleres infantiles, teatros, y cuenta cuentos para los más pequeños. También tendrá cabida el cine, la lectura y los torneos de dominó.
El 17 de abril se inaugurará la exposición de mujeres inventoras en el Centro Cultural y se podrá visitar hasta el 2 de mayo.
Para el domingo 24 hay programado el pasacalles "Del Libro al Cine" a partir de mediodía en la Avenida Andalucía. Contarán con la actuación de la banda de música municipal, el grupo de baile flamenco municipal y la actuación de la Banda Juvenil "Devils in the Sky" y el espectáculo del famoso Sergio Sánchez "El Monaguillo" titulado ¿Sólo lo veo yo?.

A card that was launched 10 years ago and has brought many benefits to the registered. Un carné que se puso en marcha hace ya 10 años, y que ha traído muchas ventajas a los empadronados. Un Carné del Ciudadano que le permite disfrutar del deporte, las manualidades y la cultura, entre otras actividades con muchísimas ventajas, que es al fin y al cabo el cometido del mismo.
El Carné del Ciudadano ha sufrido unas importantes y ventajosas modificaciones, algunas de ellas han sido las expuestas por los ciudadanos y sus inquietudes de mejora.
En este 2018 su Carné del Ciudadano seguirá siendo opcional, como siempre, y de voluntaria adquisición.
Les detallamos algunas de las nuevas ventajas del mismo:
En definitiva, mas ventajas y mas facilidades para los ciudadanos empadronados.
Pueden pasar por la recepción del ayuntamiento, donde le asesorarán e informarán a cerca del nuevo Carné del Ciudadano, o ponerse en contacto con la delegación de deportes, cuando gusten.
Entre la realación de actividades que pueden beneficiarse los usuarios de este carnet se encentran la utilizacion de la piscina o el gimnasio municipal asi como la realización de multiples actividades deportivas tanto para niños a partir de 5 años como para adultos.
